School Award

What is the Safe School Award?

The Safe School Award is given to schools who are rolling out the Safe programme, as recognition of their commitment to e-safety in social networking.

The Award includes a certificate for safeguarding evidence files, the Safe School Award logo for use on the school website and letterhead and the possibility of purchasing a Safe School Award plaque for display within the school.

Who can apply?
The Safe School Award is open to all schools that have signed up to Safe and have at least one class who have earned their Safe Certificates. Evidence of a plan to roll out of the Safe programme to other classes, in the curriculum or as an after-school activity, is required for the application.

How will a school receive the Safe School Award?
The link to download the Safe School Award certificate and logo is emailed to a school on receipt and evaluation of their application. The option to purchase a Safe School Award plaque for display purposes is also available.
